World War II wasn't even 100 years ago, it's modern history. Asian American US citizens were held in internment camps by their own government in WWII, this is history repeating itself except with families from outside of the US whose only "crime" is seeking refuge from a war that the US caused. So this whole argument against AOC is the biggest double standard if conservatives and others want to call her out. But then again I doubt you'd want to be faced with the real things going on like the militia of guards that wanted to shoot up undocumented immigrants. WE KNOW people are dying. They're brown people. So this sounds about white. Too bad they're aren't a church in Paris. Maybe people would start giving a d@mn. The spike in numbers has force border enforce to do do.. this wasn't an issue when Mexicans seeking employment hiked across here and there.. like a cat in a sil, I observe life, moving and still. Meanwhile, she’s carrying the oversight committee and asking all the right questions. Teaming up with repugnant republicans for the sake of our democracy. Pushing for legislation that won’t just positively affect Americans, but the rest of world. And your belittling of these refugees’ current situation is disgusting. I think there’s a word for it.
