Why did Gaga retire the Great Danes from her Music Videos?

Why did Gaga retire the Great Danes from her music videos? Every music video, from Poker Face to Alejandro (including Chillin' and The Fame Film) had a Great Dane in them.

Poker Face - Paparazzi saw both Rumpus and Lava make appearances, while "Bad Romance" - "Telephone" only had Lava. In Alejandro, they were both replaced with two Black Great Danes, Luna and Soleil, that could barely be seen in the shots.

 

Did Gaga ever explain why Great Danes stopped making appearances in her music videos from Born This Way till now? I remember when Born This Way premiered and I was waiting for the dogs to appear and were nowhere to be found. We know the original dogs aren't here anymore, but I think it would've been cool if she kept using Great Danes in her videos, different ones, and kept then as a trademark.

I heard that one of the original (Rumpus and Lava) Danes passed away, but I haven't heard her give an explanation as to why she didn't keep using them in general in music videos (she could have hired someone who had some, obviously). In fact, I don't think I've ever heard her talk about the Danes.

Artists got to evolve, and it's even more important for Gaga to continuously change her image. If she was CrazyGa all the time, her career would have ended a long time ago. That fact that she's so versatile is why she's still relevant.

Isn't it enough for you to see her wipe her genital on stage?

jkjk, wait until LG6 comes out, all judges can come after that. she been through a lot after BTW era, and her career has just been going up recently. Im sure you'll see that Crazy gaga again later this year.

Apparently they were both dead by 2011 and I guess Gaga didn’t want different ones, which is fair, that’d just be weird.
