Azor Ahai 18,861
Drag me through the mud idc. Billie's album is better than ASIB. I never listen to ASIB from start to finish, I only listen to the Gaga songs.

Arturo 40,746
Uhhh I like Billie and Ariana. And Billie is definitely a threat. But y’all are telling me that an album that took 2+ years to carefully craft through its songwriting and production in order to fit the story of a film so that it would later become acclaimed partly due to the magic of the music in it doesn’t deserve it? ASIB showcases Lady Gaga’s strongest songwriting AND vocals. Not to mention the gems that came from top tier collaborations with Mark Ronson, Jason Isbell, Lukas Nelson, Hilary Lindsey, and more! The album is perfection. And like Gaga said in her speech about Shallow, it’s hard work. I don’t think any other album in the running had as much time and effort put into it. Thrasher 22,980
ASIB is THAT contender for AOTY. I’ve always thought it came too early in the Grammy calendar and would have slowly faded compared to other releases, but less than 10 weeks away from the deadline it’s still so strong and relevant under every point of view. “Come over, when you’re sober”
Brie Candy 18,642
The ASIB soundtrack is even more interesting, cause in terms of creative process, it was made for a fictional world with characters and themes that were attached to a major project (the movie itself). Gaga had to be in a new zone to create the sound and to write proper lyrics to the album. Btw, this is a proper studio album, if you do not listen every single song it does not mean that it is not a solid project.

Calling such an amazing body of work all over the place is ignorant. As if whispering in most of the songs and having songs like Is That Alright and ARUTW which are the best songs that Gaga could have made to be compared... And I even like Billie, but no... Thrasher 22,980
So without Old Town Road: - Taylor would have probably placed two #1s debuts in a row (and the Lover Era would have already been labeled as huge as 1989 era and a recovery from reputation) - Shawn would have probably placed his first two #1s debuts in a row as well (a la thank u, next) and Camila her second #1 - Ed and Bieber would have placed another #1 each - Billie would have placed a #1 Our luck with Shallow after years of starving, ugh “Come over, when you’re sober”
