This is pretty much the reason why I'm still here. I would not do all this and suffer through this for any other artist. It's just a shame because Madonna hasn't lost her fanbase for her first 20 years and Gaga was only able to sustain a healthy fanbase for 4-5 years. Even JT with MOTW flopping still probably has a bigger, yet jhust more silent fanbase than most. The concerts were packed with 25-35 year old women groups :huntyga:

to be fair the music industry has changed a lot since 80's, pop stars back then clearly had bigger influences and fanbase and they didn't need to change their direction continuously to please the audience.

In streaming era we see pop stars come and go , GP tends to abandon the old things easily, let's not forget most pop stars gaga used to compete with during ARTPOP era have already flopped. (Katy, Miley, Lorde...) if gaga didn't do C2C and ASIB or even Joanne to seek another fanbase she would surely end up like them, no shade

We are not in the ARTPOP or Joanne case when the GP wasn't really interested in her. This time, the hype about her will be huge.

The fact that we can now admit Joanne was not a smash without loads of hate from its stans. :diane:

OT: I just saw Gagita’s monthly Spotify numbers and they’re not terrible. 27.78 Million. :bradley:

Y’all need to stop with those “hype” talk.  Selena’s Bad Liar was one of most anticipated and “hyped” comeback back then and it ends up being a massive flop all over world.

If Billie is releasing early in 2020, her team probably don’t want to make the same mistake as Lorde. Lorde’s Melodrama was a great album but she waited too long.
