Canada ran an estimated deficit of $11.8 Billion (less than $9Billion US) for the fiscal year of April 1st 2018 to March 31st 2019

That Federal Deficit is smaller than the Province of Ontarios deficit of $13 Billion

The deficit of 0.3% of GDP is nearly wiped out tho after better than expected revenue new pleges from Trudeau for increased spending are poised to bring the deficit back up to $20 Billion next year or about 0.9% of GDP

Thank you Justin Trudeau :applause:

He grew the deficit tho he didn't shrink it...

The deficits grew when Trudeau room office. Right before the Liberals took over the budget was essentially balanced and on his first year $20 billion deficits start. :awkney:

The numbers just came in better than expected this year so the deficit shrank but he instantly took the opportunity to just comit to new spending and it's going up again next year

He's not that financially responsible

Canada had a surplus for 18 years in a row before the great recession and we were almost back to it and he ruin it all :deadbanana:
