ElectricKing 9,405
If it is a real thing and I'm pretty sure it is*, how do you think it'll work? In a heavily populated industry already with the likes of Mac, Estee Lauder, Sephora etc. - premium beauty has become a thing that everyone wants a piece of. And now celebrities have started moving on into the action with Rihanna and Kylie Jenner becoming dominant figures in the beauty industry. Kylie is a heavily portrayed persona in the social media age and with her dramatic lip transformation that has become a bit of a cultural phenomenon, it's easy to see why her lip kits sold so well. Rihanna as a black woman made 30 shades of foundation with showcasing multiple darker shades for black women who struggle to find their colour match. Easy to see how these women found their demographics and sold an idea. So who do you think Gaga's demographic be and what will be her USP (unique selling point)? Maybe Gaga will sell to us gays? Drag queens? What kind of new ideas do you think Gaga will bring? because as we all know she doesn't do things by halves! *(this beauty line is pretty much confirmed, she's been seen around with Haus folders and the website Haus Laboratories lands at Haus Beauty)

River 118,073
I wonder how she will promote it, something like this? "I'm ugly in my way, cause god makes some mistakes" - Haus Beauty, we are here to fix your birth mistakes because you were born this way baby So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

Nino 12
Seriously though, transformation and female empowerment are two things Lady Gaga has built her image around. Her appeal isn't her outrageous lifestyle like Rihanna or Kylie Jenner(their main appeal, above racial inclusivity or lip fillers), it's celebrating what makes you unique. I'd also find it fairly inauthentic for her to come out swinging marketing trendy instragram bait makeup considering she keeps her makeup looks very classic, even the more out there looks are done with traditional techniques. I'm expecting unconventional beauty and inclusivity to be what the line is marketed around. She's pulling a Born This Way and going for the people who were left behind in the everybody's an mua social media world.
Lucas 27,384
I wonder the same, and I feel like the beauty industry is becoming saturated, even candy/pizza brands, random TV reality stars etc... are launching their make-up palettes. If Gaga really cares about its success she'll have to be very innovative to find people's interest
G U C C I 5,513
I almost wonder if its more of a skin care brand than an actual makeup line like Fenty beauty. Something more like loving yourself and being free type of thing with really unique makeup products thrown in.
ChromeAngel 3,230
Well I don’t think it’s a thing. Her walking around with Haus folders most likely is from the Haus of Gaga museum. Maybe they dabbled with the concept, maybe it’s literally not what we think. What’s if it’s hair? Or all unique press on nails? Those seem far more likely than a tired makeup line when 10000 already exist.
TimisaMonster 31,073
I want Gaga to make a unisex makeup line where both men and women are featured Kinda gimmicky since makeup has no gender but to advertise to a great majority of her fanbase being men...i think it would be profitable Stream my new single, 💜"Heartbeat"💜, on Spotify! gagaxsebert 5,804
Yeah what will her USP be? Like she could for the gays but she’ll need a wider demographic Used to be HighRoad

The message Born This Way carried could fold into this! Making the disenfranchised feel part of the 'beauty' craze.
