Between ASIB (A Star is Born), her Las Vegas residency, the corporate concerts she has been doing to raise money for the BTWF, and everything else, she just hasn’t had time to make an album which meets her very high expectations.  Give it a couple more years.

I mean....the only 'pop' record she's released since dropping her team is Joanne. Could be as simple as not being able to find the right talent to create a true 'Lady Gaga' level album.

The Grammys deadline definitely is a factor to consider, but I think the pop scene right now is a tad oversaturated with many artists making comebacks and lead singles (we’re literally in the middle of Taylor, Madonna, Katy and Miley’s eras).

If Gaga’s choosing to refine the album and release at a time when it’ll make more waves, I’m happy.

I feel the label might have pushed it back a little due to Shallow being so big. Probably not as much as people are claiming is the reason. I think that, and I've always guessed a August lead with album afterwards.

 

It can't be the split I mean look at Five foot Two she was finishing up Joanne and kept going and that was bigger than her thing with Carino.

I don't really mind how it gets released but I do feel possibly she might surprise release when she does.

I reckon Shallow totally blindsighted the lot of them. Gaga hasnt had much commericial success in recent years in terms of a single having the longevity of her older songs, so it was a huge surprise they had to ride on.  Shallow was everywhere, so they halted everything else to focus on promotion for that and the movie. I also think she may have scrapped the project she was working on in early 2018 both because her professional life has seen a lot of success and because she has history of dropping material early in. I also feel that the black and white photoshoot definitely had something to do with it because it such a cool concept and very different from what she had been posting before it. I really dont think it was just a shoot for fun. Its too elaborate and creative to be that.

I reckon it will be next year before we see anything unless she decides for a late autumn release to get those Christmas sales in.
