Warner Bros. has closed a deal for the “Twilight” actor to play the Caped Crusader in “The Batman.” Matt Reeves’ superhero tentpole hits theaters on June 25, 2021. Variety first reported on May 16 that Pattinson was in negotiations for the part. He can tackle many different types of roles that are radically different from each other. Twilight only made him one of the most bankable stars in the world. I was excited about Affect because he had say in the script and Affect is an amazing screen writer. I don't think he's that great of an actor tho. I do think Pattinson is a better actor. With what Matt did with Planet of the Apes as director, I think Batman will be a great movie. He was the laziest yawn-inducing Batman I’ve seen like he moved so slow it seemed his balls are too heavy for his own good. Guess I was spoiled with Bale’s calibre. And I love RPats.
