I do have a point.. imagine actually making an actual argument to prove im wrong instead of just telling me I dont have a point. Also, I dont know what that article has to do with anything we are talking about

Some people change for the better when it comes to gay views. What's wrong with that? The problem is when they align themselves and make policy desicions based on reverse  LGBTQ growth and empathy like Trump has.

As if people have to pop out of a vagina loving the LGBTQ community. Otherwise they aren't genuine or an ally.

This is not true. That's Russian propaganda.

We dont have Russian Propaganda in the Middle East. Everyone here knows its not true and even the ones who believe it have no proof who did it.

And? Even if he is so what? That argument is like when people criticise celebrities for giving to charity: "Oh you're just doing that to look good!". The bottom line is the charity gets the money right?

It doesn't matter what Trumpies motivations are: it's a good thing for the President of the USA to be saying this. Cmon now, let's not be contrary for the sake of it :ally:

No,cause he's fooling people who are then going to elect him again. That's pretty obvious.

You have the internet, so you definitely have some form of Russian propaganda. Here's a video of children suffering after the gas attack. This is not the first, and I doubt it will be the last time that Assad and his horrific evil regime use chemical weapons on civilians.

he’s not stripping away trans rights. he’s giving rights to religious healthcare workers. you don’t need to understand them to respect their religious beliefs—which is exactly what trans ppl ask of society (ironically)

Ok that is a good argument but I still disagree because I dont think they changed because of growth. They change because they had to with time if they wanted to be elected. But I dont have evidence for that so..

Normal? Yes, after they changed their views on gay rights after the general public started accepting us more. Before that, no because they were both against gay rights.

No it isnt any different. If you think the CEO of these companies cares about us, you're mistaken.

I meant that they don't get to decide on laws. They don't have the same power as the president so their opinion doesn't matter

By taking away a trans person's right to even exist.

You shouldn't "give" groups rights by taking away other groups' existence hostage.

This is BS and you know it.

You're right. If an LGBT person wants to criminalize being gay, they shouldn't be pressured about it. :saladga:

I agree that Trump is not an LGBT ally. I agree that he is a not a president who promotes equality. And I agree that he has policies that are anti-LGBT.

But... that doesn't mean that some gay people, for whatever their reason, should be judged or excluded from supporting Trump. There are other issues in America that perhaps some gay people think Trump deals with well, possibly outweighing his stance in areas of progressiveness.

LGBT inclusivity *should* be a given in any country, but there are other issues on the table, too. Perhaps some gay people encounter issues unrelated to their sexuality - issues that they think Trump might deal with.

It's not fair to judge someone's morality for simply using their right to vote. And if a gay person wants to vote for Trump, then so be it. That doesn't mean we can't try to educate people with the appropriate messaging - but it does mean that judging people achieves nothing but only further divisions.

There's more to it than that. It's not just his LGBT history of policies, it's his morality. It's his competency. It's his childishness. You'd be right if this were Mitt Romney, but Trump is a special kind of evil that LGBT people should be able to recognize.

Ever heard of operation northwood? ever heard of the fake baby incubators stories? and you still believe your government?

I personally think it is okay because you dont have any good choices and two horrible political parties. I dont blame Gay Trump supporters or Gay democrats.
