Canada Allows Gender-Neutral "X" on Passports

I’m so proud that my mother tongue (one of the oldest languages) has a gender neutral way of addressing people.

there is a difference between trans/non binary people and gender non-conforming people.

Gender non-conforming people for example feel comortable in their gender, but choose not to follow the social expectations that come along with it (for example, a man who feels comfortable with being male, but chooses to express himself more feminine by wearing feminine clothes).

Trans/NB-people however feel a disconnect with the gender they were assigned at birth. Gender Identity isn't based on socially constructed ideas (as in "blue for boys" or "pink for girls"). It is something innate to you as a person. 

Nobody is aiming to make people feel the need to identity as NB just because they go against arbitrary gender roles.

For your *false* problem : Use their names. Thats the solution, which I presented to you earlier. If you will get to know that person, you will know what verbs adjectives to use. I dont think that when you will meet a non-binary person, you wont get your answer if you ask what pronouns verbs adjectives to use.

 

I have no problem with Canada having X on a passport. I actually think it's a good thing. I just asked how are the non-binary people part of the LGBT community when their way of thinking is somewhat opposite of what many people in the LGBT community go through (sex change for example is useless in their opinion since that's just something between your legs and doesn't define who you are). 

You guys immediately assumed I was being judgemental and me having a "false" problem and honestly that's the real issue here. No need to JUMP to conclusions and attack someone as soon as they slightly disagree or are not aware of something. 

I respect the non-binary community and of course if I ever have a friend like that, I will use the pronouns they want me to use. But I still think they are not really part of the LGBT community since their issue is something completely different and goes againts the LGBT values.

This is the first time you actually say anything lgbt related, at least in our interactions. Thats why I responded only to what you actually said ( comparasions of non-binary people with animals or objects, The pronoums that you should use when talking about them).

I respect your opinions in regard with the inclusion of non-binary people in the lgbtq community. Those are some interesting points, but they are kinda off topic and the discussion has gone too far already.  I am happy that we found some common ground at least about the things we talked about.

Baby, rejoice and love yourself cause baby you were born that way! you born boy, you are boy, you born girl you are girl. If you like to dress as a girl it's ok, but you can't change the biology just because you can't accept yourself.
