That will be confusing for homophobic countries and other countries who have not introduce this kind of policy. What if  they won't let you in cos the gender is unclear? :oprah:

It’s addressed in the article, it’s up to people to decide if they want the X and make their travels regarding that possible issue

Yes. I am just saying that those who will get it, cos they want to be true to themselves regardless, may be met with few barriers. Since, it's not just concerning leisure travel where we can choose which destination to go. Sometimes adults will need to go on business travel too, and that will be quite challenging. I.E: If one need to travel to Russia, they doesn't really like 'nontraditional' people and you might face bigger issues at Russian immigration. Among others. :diane:

I figure some countries have rules about who can enter/who can't and maybe there isn't a rule that states "if gender isnt written on the passport" so maybe that won't be a problem in some places... but yes I get what you mean :o

I think that people who would choose the X gender dont want to visit those homophobic countries.
