Trumps approval ratings rise to 48% amid a string economy. In fact 62% of Americans approve of where the economy is going!

Main reasons for strong US Economy:

#1 US energy boom creating high paying jobs, plus preventing energy price surges that usually happen towards late cycles in economy! - Not credited to Trump

#2  The 2008 financial crisis corrected a lot of imbalances such as household debt and over production of cars and homes. Not credited to Trump

#3 A trend that was already underway by Obama's leadership. Not credited to Trump

#4 Sound monetary policy by the Federal reserve. Not credited to Trump

#5 Tax cuts stimulus. Credit to Trump.

----------

Only 1/5 reasons I see for strong US economy have anything to do with Trump and even that reason is questionable because it's not sustainable long term given the high deficits!

He doesn't deserve squat credit for economy!

Hmmm, but what is the truth though? :oprah:

"Trump’s job approval rating in the Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll survey is higher than what other recent polls have found.

The president’s job approval rating is at 42.5 percent in the RealClearPolitics average. A recent Rasmussen Reports survey found Trump at 48 percent, but six other recent polls found him ranging between 38 percent and 44 percent."

Rasmussen is a more conservative poller from my knowledge. That poll always keep Trump's approval ratings higher. Trump approval and Trump approval on economy are also different polls which might confuse some.

I mean polls are being done all the time and have margin for error given they are samples and not a census

I'm sorry but the Dow Jones hasn't seen much improvement since Trump Tax cuts that were signed on Dec 2017.  I actually think we are at the same exact place we're we're when he signed it as we are right now maybe lower since his tarifs on Mexico.

His average approval ratings in polls have crashed recently, actually.  I read this article earlier, and the Harris poll seems to be an outlier in terms of general approval ratings.  Even Rasmussen, which is generally a Trump-favorable pollster, has been showing downward trends for a while now.

I'm talkin' 'bout forever, baby.

Whispering

According to fivethirtyeight, he’s still hovering around the forty per cent approval mark. Trump pretty much stays in that range now.
