I'd love for this to mean he admitted Russia helped him but he's just so great at writing sentences I can't help but wonder if it wasn't an admission but he just accidentally made it sound like one

Do you feel him sir?

Yeah the report says Russia tried to get him him elected. Hes saying he had nothing to do with it. Nothing new or admitting anything.

But serious question, im not American so I dont know how things are in America. If Trump lost the popular vote, doesnt that mean its invalid weather Russia tried to help him win?

I don't think him winning or loosing the popular vote has anything to do with anything

Russia meddled that's the point. What matters now is confirming whether or not Trump was ever involved

They could've meddled in swing states (specifically Wisconsin/Michigan/Pennsylvania, the 3 states that granted him the presidency by an incredibly narrow margin).

But it wouldnt matter because at the end its up to the electoral college right? even if they meddled the votes, the electoral college went against what people voted for and chose Trump. Or em I mistaken?

You seem to no understand how the EC votes. The EC vote for each state goes for the candidate that won the popular vote in that particular state.

The issue is that many states are over represented or underrepresented in their EC votes.

Furthermore, the country overall voted for Hillary Clinton, so technically the EC failed to elect the candidate that most voters wanted.

Basically if you win the popular vote in a state, you get their electoral votes. Some states have a huge population (like New York and California) while others have a small population (say Wyoming or Montana). Bigger states usually have the major cities which usually lean liberal. Clinton won over states with big populations, but Trump won over more states overall. Despite winning more states, more people voted for Clinton, but the popular vote doesn't matter in the electoral system.

Yeah I said that I dont understand it, thats why im asking..

And yes I understand what you explained but also, the state can ignore what people in their state voted for and vote for the opposing side which is why trump won. Or is that not true? this is why America is a republic, not a democratic country.

And with that everyone forgot about Mueller's press conference yesterday and are now obsessed with this. Master of distraction.

Not to say his tweet isn't damning, but wow.

How is the tweet damning? He feels that Russian interference and influence has helped many U.S. presidents get elected in the past and simply because they helped him get elected does not mean he was complicit, that's how I read it
