Streaming is mostly dominated by kids and they want harder edgier sounds. Those days of bubblegum pop are gone, Katy just wants to be relevant again but this isn’t the way. I get the whole avatar storyline thing is new, but her looks, the choreography, etc, it's nothing new, it's rehashing her "Weirdga" past and the entire show has EVERYTHING to do with her previous work.
