Just got scammed online for $240 trying to buy Enigma GA

I know it's foolish to even think about this whole experience but I really thought it was a trusted transaction. 

It wasn't through stubhub or ticketmaster, but the person selling was listed online. 

We messaged back and forth and even exchanged PERSONAL info. Since the original about was $500 and I was hesitant to send the money first without the tickets, he said I can so half then he'd transfer and after pay the rest. 

I sent over $240. He told me to wait a couple minutes while he got the transfer ready. 

He then disappeared from Facebook, messenger, phone number, everything!!!! 

Now I'm broke $240 so if there's s a rich little monster willing to get my loss back, I'll forever love you.

So update :::

Facebook said they couldn't do anything about that. Once the transaction is processed nothing else can be done, to contact my bank. 

The bank told me  they couldn't reverse it because it was through Facebook and it requires me putting my info so it doesn't seem like a scam to them.

How did you send the money? Immediately contact your bank, they can track things like this and contact the authorities.

You did transactions without using PayPal? Not wise nor smart, fam! 

If it is not long ago, you need to call ur bank IMMEDIATELY! And ask them to hold that payment or cancel them cos it was a scam.
