My English teacher talks "The Emancipation Of Mimi"

So we were analysing a text in English as ya do (every lesson) when preparing for the GCSEs, and the word "emaciated" came up.
My teacher then said "Now, remember, that's emaciated, not emancipated. I get those confused sometimes."
My friend, who's a lamb, then of course had to say "Like the emancipation of Mimi?" to which my teacher responded "Yeah! I was so confused when that album came out, I was like, why is she singing about being skinny?"

At least she knows. The skinniest of legends prevails

The first picture with the jean shorts and tank made me sad. There are actual people walking around almost dead that look like that. They are starving themselves to death and need help. I can see that it's a photoshop also, but still is very sad.
