Hey everyone,

I'm planning to go to Las Vegas this summer for her residency show. Thing is, I'm from out of country (Canada), and will be in Las Vegas for a few days. I have lots of free time aside from the concert, and I was wondering what I can do in Las Vegas other than seeing the casinos? Any good restaurants to go to?

Bonus: what's a decent amount of money to bring for the merchandise and souvenirs and the occasional take out? $200 USD minimal?

Thanks! :D

I fell down the stairs once as an actor.

There's a restaurant that serves a golden chocolate bar for 100 dollars, that looks pretty cool :poot:

Go see a cirque du soleil show. Visit the Stratosphere and ride one of their thrill rides. Go to Madame Tussaud’s wax museum.

- eat at Best Friend in the Park MGM (it's incredible and wacky and delicious) and In n Out for a burger if you've never had it before!

- Neon Graveyard Museum near downtown is pretty cool, and good for photos

- see Brian Newman play at his just announced residency :vegas:

- gamble, obviously (and you get free drinks if you're actively playing)

- since it's summer, I'd check out a pool party with a DJ

- Phoenix gay bar was super fun and chill with drag performers and poppy music

I'm leaving Monday and so far I've booked Stratosphere, Madame Tussauds, zip lining at LINQ, visiting the Eiffel Tower at the Paris hotel and seeing Cheat Codes at KAOS day club.

Depends on how many days you're going for but I'm bringing a little over 1000$ USD for 5 days

The menu for Best Friend looks amazing! What are your recommended dishes?

This is a healthy budget as Vegas can be pretty expensive.

I would add:

- Eataly at the Park MGM (big Italian :lolga:food hall very close to the theater)
- On the Record club at Park MGM (they have afterparties for the Gaga shows and Mark Ronson has a residency there too)
- Walking around the Strip and checking out all the casinos and malls (especially in the morning when it's not as crowded). Some truly ridiculous scenes at the themed places.

Oh yes this is a must! The Fashion Show mall looks amazing! Also visiting the Las Vegas sign!

I went like right before getting on my flight, so we kind of snacked. But definitely get one of the frozen slushy drinks (I think mine was a strawberry daiquiri?), the dumplings are great, and garlic chicken thighs are OUT OF THIS WORLD. All of the food looked great tho!
