That is such a pity honestly. I am sure not all Alabama and Arkansas citizen are like this, however the one that runs the state really closed minded for this and that abortion bill also made the news nationwide this week.

Just like one of the citizen said,

Misty Souder, a mother and substitute teacher in Alabama, told AL.com she thought the episode was a celebration of inclusion.

She said she was disappointed the public television station chose not to air the episode and used the experience to teacher her daughter a lesson in standing up for minority groups.

It is just sad that politicians that were involved in this decision took that away from the children in the name of religion.

No. The word you're looking for is fascism.

Communism is extreme left wing, or more ultimately; personal & social freedom. The people control communism, not a governing body.

Where as fascism (extreme right wing) is where your personal and social rights are controlled by a governing body; AKA, this situation.

I think media censorship is a sign of authoritarianism. A fascist regime, as well as a communist regime, can both be authoritarian. But I agree, cuz, in theory, censorship is more ingrained in fascist ideology than radical leftism. @JusKeepBreathin

Sorry if I seemed a little insensitive or mean, but I just know that kids don’t need to watch this, and they probably won’t even know what it means anyway :laughga:

Look at it this way, they probably  don't know what that even means right now, but about a year or two, their parents may see a gay couple and says that they will burn in hell, the child will remember they saw the episode and think for  themselves :" uhm, the rats are gays and they seem to do ok". This how we learn and make sense of the world, it means something because it normalizes LGBTQ relationships as nothing different from the straight's.

Lemme guess, the parents that are bothered by this don't care about all the bloody and violent cartoons their kid watches :selena:

Just imagine. Somewhere in Alabama, an 11 year old girl will be forced to give birth to her father’s child due to rape/incest. And Alabama lawmakers are more offended over cartoon gay rats getting married. :wtf:
