So you don’t care about nuance? Got it. You have an elementary black and white view of the world that you seriously need to grow out of. “Bernie said Hillary was bad! He shouldn’t have supported Hillary who would’ve been a better president than Trump!” :laughga:

Bernie was scared of Trump? Where?

He never said Corporate Democrats and Republicans are the same people :laughga:

Corporate democrats and republicans work for the same corporations, military industrial complex, and wall street. If Obama did not win, you guys would have the Romney care which is the same thing. You would have the same wars. Everything would be the same, only the shallow things are different. Continue voting for the better of two evils will keep these people in power controlling the American people.

I do believe in nuance but I dont think this is nuance. Also, if you want me to vote for the better of two evil, I would pick Trump as I live in the Middle East and he is better on foreign policy.

Voting for someone simply because they are not Trump will get you Trump in 2020. Voting someone because of their policy is what will get you real solutions specially long term.

Because his politics come from his objective ability to  stay loyal to his values.  That's why elections are really about who can best elevate us to our best values.  Honestly, that's why I'm team Pete Bootilicious.

I can’t tell if you’re trolling or not :saladga:

Corporate democrats are definitely better than Republicans. Would a Republican make gay marriage legal? Make birth control more accessible? Protect public housing? Make more provisions to protect the environment? Pull America out of the Paris Accords? Expand protections to LBGT students from discrimination? I could go on and on and on. You literally don’t know what you’re talking about, especially since you don’t even live in America :laughga:

Hillary vs Trump was definitely a case of nuance because like I already said, Corporate Democrats are most definitely better than Republicans.

Funny enough I agree with your last point. :laughga:. That’s exactly why I support someone like Bernie and not a vacuous corporate shill who runs on values like Pete Buttigieg

I disagree that its the moral thing to do but im not gonna get into that.. he is not  consistent being anti Hilary, then supporting Hilary.

Troll, you do not understand American politics. When the general convention is held, all of the losing candidates throw their support to the winning nominee.  The Republicans do the same thing. A Democrat would rather have another Democrat win, than have a Republican win. That is why it is done.

It does not always happen that way. Ron Paul did not do that for republicans and many republican candidates in 2016 said they wont support Trump.   There is also third parties. American politics does not require you to vote for your party no matter who the nominee is.

Troll, at the party convention, there is a party platform. Democrats typically believe in the things listed in the democratic party platform more than they believe in the things in the Republican party platform . Third party candidates are really just throwing your vote away, because they have never had enough votes to get elected.

A candidate like Trump can cause moderate Republicans, or libertarians, or even others for whatever reason, to vote for a democrat.

Progressives do not agree with corporate democrats. Democrats are against healthcare and progressives are for. Democrats are for wars and progressives are for it. Democrats are against free education and progressives are for it. Progresives are against corporate money while democrats are for it. Progressives are just forced to join democrats because they have no other choice.

The whole point in living in a democracy is to vote for policies you support, not voting against a republican candidate. Republicans vote on policies they believe in, they dont vote for someone because they have to.

Troll, you are from Saudi Arabia, why are you trying to divide the democratic party of the USA?  This is the exact behavior that Russia used to manipulate the 2016 elections and to divide the American people.

Troll why are you on this Lady Gaga fan site? Do you own any Lady Gaga music? Have you ever been to a Lady Gaga concert?  Are you a gay man trying to find someone to have gay sex with?

I dont care about the reasoning, I cant support something im against and then give an excuse. His excuse was worse than his support because he was scared of the orange boogieman. The real boogieman is the person he is asking to vote for.

Bernie is the one who told us that corporate democrats are no different from republicans and they both work for the same people.

Sorry, but if you actually read the policy platforms and looked beyond just the presidential race, there are clear and factual differences between the Democratic and Republican parties. Love Jimmy but the point does not apply in this instance. Money in politics should be an issue of major importance to consider, but not considering any of the other ramifications is a dangerous frame of mind.

One HUGE difference that comes to mind right off the bat: one party supports stripping women and minorities of their rights, and one does not.

One party stripes womens rights and one does not. But the one that does not will do other crimes that corporations want. At the end of the day, corporations will get their wayif you vote for republican or democrat. We should voet progressive or libertarian.

Senator Clinton would not have nominated the same 2 supreme court justices that went to the same private catholic school.

We would not have withdrawn from the global climate change accord. Clinton would not have tried to gut and defund the EPA, energy, and education departments.

We would not be in a trade war with China, and all of our allies.

Just to name a few things that would be different.

I don't think these difference are "shallow things" but the vote for the lesser of two evils is clearly a trap that keep a nasty system in place indeed. :/
