In these corporate events the audience isn't paying that much attention, they're talking all the time so why bring something new? They are not fans and they didn't pay to see her so it's not that important.

She is one of the richest pop stars of our generation. The Vegas shows are paying $1 million per show, on top of what she already gets from everything she's done and released previously. She doesn't need the money from these private events.

So theory A: she's doing these private shows to raise money for something related to the next era that Interscope won't pay for so she doesn't feel like it's coming directly out of her own pocket.

Theory B: she's doing these shows for tech companies so she can ask for help in developing her own company or tech product afterwards.

Both events are software related. If it's just for the money she'd also do more of those rich people weddings internationally.

Gaga went broke back in the day since she paid for a lot of stuff in regards to her tours out of her own pocket. I feel like she does paid gigs because she never wants to be in the same place, again, and because security is expensive. I wouldn't be surprised if she spent 500k-a mil a year on security. Apple tho makes sense in terms of a possible future relationship though, so in that case I don't think it's just about the $$$.

*I also don't believe she's raking in a million per day because of Vegas, and even if she was huge cuts are going to her security, her label, her agent, and so on. She's clearly wealthy and probably invests well, though.

I always figured the more nasal voice is a stylistic choice, and possibly even "easier" on her vocals than trying to sing higher and clearer. Her tone used to be way different most of the time back in '09, but there are some clips where she sounds way more nasal and deeper voiced and like it could be in '19 out there.

No, LM were still messy in the stream and on twitter but it wasn't as bad....and the audience loved it compared to SAP.

Of course some LM on twitter focus on the most awkward parts of the concert banter (just doesn't work at paid corporate gigs, Gags, although it was way more tame/better than SAP) and PopCrave focused on that smdh. But I googled and the headlines were all about the sweet speech she gave about Steve and Laurene, unlike the SAP mess, and twitter/IG reactions seemed all positive as far as I can tell except for a lot of people thinking her Enigma sketches were bizarre lol. People were singing along to MR and You and I, and there was a lot of dancing.

She was probably going awf in studio and was just tired, or has a cold. She has bad days - but I noticed she played it safe which is what a trained vocalist would do. I think she’s fine.

Why is everyone acting like she couldn’t get through the show and had to start lip syncing or talking through parts of the song? Speaking As a professional opera singer we ALL have stellar days and we have not so stellar days.

And her band and dancers need checks too.  These shows arent just to line Gaga’s pockets, a lot of others are dependent on performing and they aren’t making anywhere near what Gaga does per show. 

This is a very good point. Any private event she does serves multiple purposes, especially these recent ones.

Why the hell would she do all that extra effort to give different shows at private events where most people aren't even fans and are not paying to see her? + why would you be disappointed when she ain't doing it for you and you're just lucky enough that somebody is willing to livestream it lmfao
