I'm aware of that. I was asking about who was responsible for the concept of some of her looks. As kitschy as they were, there were some that referenced actual pieces of camp and the absurd. I'm assuming whoever was responsible no longer works with her anymore.

Well that's embarassing to go to a fashion event without even doing a research on the theme, that's like she doesn't even care to be on theme, and she should have expected this question tbh. But still, I think her dress was one of the best (if you ignore the theme) and she was so beautiful

Astounded that they called her the queen of camp. Blasphemy, considering Gaga was there and stole the show. Then she gets interviewed and doesn't even know what it means, making this title doubly foolish. Nicki only cared about looking outlandish when it was the in thing. And she never liked anyone comparing her to Gaga back in the day because she knew she was ripping her off and was scrambling for reasons as to why her style changed so quickly from traditional rap chick to avant garde overnight when she put out her first album. She didn't have a clue what the meaning was behind any of her outfits and didn't like any of her intentions being questioned. To not even research the word and the video the Met put out just shocks me. She and her team have been so lazy recently. Some years back, she would've gone to town on this theme. Considering Cardi was going to be there and she'd been serving extravagant looks lately, I really thought Nicki would be all about trying to up her game and outdo her but no, she just played it safe and didn't seem to want to be there. But she also appeared to be going through some kind of inner turmoul. She seemed vulnerable and borderline sad in that interview, probably because of her all her recent career troubles. But if she'd just paid attention to the theme and executed it correctly, she could've been the most talked-about of the night and got some popularity back. This was an opportunity for her to get some relevancy back and she just didn't take it.
