Musicisfreedom 5,837
Can we all just take a moment to appreciate this otherworldly, ethereal, magical goddess, Florence Welch? I have loved her since 2011, and was one of the first musicians I really deeply connected with. She started my extreme passion for music in general, and has given me so many great memories with her music. I finally got to see her last September, and it was such a magical experience, that I can hardly even listen to her now without crying. So, take a moment to appreciate this woman: Bitch I'm Madonna

Theres such a special place in my heart for Florence That is so beautiful I am so glad that album helped you so much. High as Hope helped me through a very difficult time just last year, I would replay it over and over. I don't even know what I would do if it hadn't came out when it did. I needed it so much, and I'm still finding bits and pieces of lyrics that relate to my current situations. Bitch I'm Madonna

whateveradore 858
I first heard Florence in the movie "Jennifer's Body", with her song "Kiss With A Fist" and I was hypnotized by it, her voice so soft and angry and the beat so loud and funny, I just had to google her. Then I found out she was the bitch who music video I found to be so pretty aka "Dog Days Are Over". I downloaded the album "Lungs" and done, I was obsessed and had a new favorite artist. When the time came for her to release "Ceremonials", well I was a wreck. I had just lost a friend in a car crash and the lyrics to "Only For A Night" struck so hard with me, along with "Never Let Me Go" and "No Light, No Light". Again she was meaning so much to me. Do I have to mention the beauty of the "Spectrum" music video? Sia took some lessons from her haha. And her song Seven Devils being featured in Game Of Thrones, it fitted so well. Again, wow I just realized every time Florence drops an album I'm going through something, we love a supportive Queen haha, she released "How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful" and it is a real post break up driven album which was exactly what I was going through. The way she sings "What Kind Of Men" still makes me feel so empowered. And then to be an even bigger bitch she released an Odyssey, like **** ME UP FLORENCE. And finally, last but not least, "High As Hope". I had just had a BIG fight with my parents about my sexuality, my body choices and my future (job and college) and she made me feel so good, ok, and safe. The messages she gives us with it kind of saying "You are young, you have your whole life ahead of you, problems are not that serious and can be solved whenever you feel comfortable" I was like, does she have a camera filming me? Cause this is exactly what I needed. AMOR MORTA GAGA

whateveradore 858
Honorable Mentions. He song for the "Snow White and the Huntsmen", I'm still shocked and obsessed with it. Maybe because it was with an orchestra maybe the promo video helped, but it's so EPIC, the crescendo momentum. "Breath Of Life" is definitely a classic. And her song along with Lana's "Young and Beautiful", fitted the storyline fo "The Great Gatsby" in a way I could have never imagined. I mean she sings about Gatsby hope of Daisy being his again and him waiting by along with the Green Light just so that she knew it was him, it makes me cry. "Over The Love" a sad bop.
