Fresco 1,688
These Instagram leather on the balcony pictures have more likes than the v magazine pictures. The pear dress on the plane pictures from yesterday have 1 million more likes than the v magazine pictures. Imagine how many likes those v magazine pictures could have gotten if she was actually identifiable in them, and if the set pieces were appropriate for her life and her career. She was a nearly unidentifiable mannequin in those v magazine pictures.

It's pretty normal to like or not like other people's appearance and this time i didn't like hers. That's all Like or not like =/= criticising someone known for a history of depression and body issues, behind their backs. One question, celebrity or not, what would you feel if you went into a forum and saw a group of people you dont know, nitpicking your pictures and attacking the way you choose to dress? Or your facial features?

I just want her to take it a little easy on the fillers cause they really don’t suit her anymore. She looks much older imo. And also, what’s up with the 3rd photo? Looks like it’s from the Joanne Era. I think she gets fillers/botox because it relaxes her face from her fibromyalgia. I might be wrong though. also it might just be the makeup and angle cuz in other pictures, she looks identical to 2008 GAGA.

That goes against her core values of pursuing her true self over what other people want her to do for money/fame.

She did fillers way before she got fibro... i think the light definitely played a role since she looked amazing at the Met.

I would argue that being obscured by straw like a tribal native was never ever part of her life or aesthetic. Neither was that other costumed warrior pose. She has worn lots of costumes, and chosen many identities, but never these. We have been told that these looks were chosen by the photographer. I'm surprised no-one complained about cultural mis-appropriation, especially with the tribal straw pose where she is standing with 1 foot visible wearing tribal bracelets. As a New Yorker, she is about as distant from tribal culture that you can possibly imagine. The v magazine photographer Jean-Paul Goude chose poorly. Fresco 1,688
Ps. In the olden days, the rich commissioned portraits. Those paintings were skillfully done, and included props important to the family that commissioned them . Art was meaningful, skillful, and beautiful (as appropriate for the year). Minimalism destroyed art for the general public. Duchamp's readymade toilets were a joke to the GP. I have wondered at pure white, or striped canvases in museums. I once heard an artist say, I breathe therefore I am art. The word art is meaningless to the GP. Art now is almost never meaningful, and skilled, and beautiful. It is a rare find when it is. Art at concerts sometimes is actually meaningful and skillful and beautiful and it is rewarded with commercial success from the general public.
