For an intro that was supposed to be like “look how bad my reputation is” it turned out to be nothing scandalous and very bubblegum

I don’t get why artists don’t speak more directly to the fan base or name drop the sites. I get that you don’t want to piss off your fans but if they are creating a hostile/negative environment - especially when attacking one specific artist - it seems like it would be effective to address the issue.

the only thing I could see her using that would ACTUALLY make sense is a right wing crazy commenting on her sexual harassment case - but even then she was praised for that for the most part.

I literally just had to laugh at the intro - so try-hard.

The way Beyonce fans RAN to this thread to scream cultural impact and performing skills. 

Everybody feels different about a performance and while many people would enjoy a Beyonce performance, I'm sure there's just as many people who would not. If she has so much cultural impact then why doesn't that translate into sales? If she is such a godlike performer then why did she fail to outgross Taylor's latest tour in her flop era?

Meanwhile Gaga only used a handful of the horrible headlines about her in the performances she did for DWUW and the video  Tbh I think that's why no one cared much about reputation as this clapback moment for her. She was never *that* hated in the first place lololol

Yes and half of these are probably kids. Kids who have been taken by their parents as a Christmas present or someone who has just randomly gone 'ooh it's that girl who sings the we are never ever ever getting back together song, let's get a ticket'.

That much chart success equals success in concerts (also refer to Ed Sheeran)*. Ticket sales does not mean the quality of the concert is good.

 

*Not reducing the amount of talent Ed Sheeran has btw, he's very talented.
