Yes, actually there can be but not in every case since a whole generation is growing up using these platforms on a daily basis, unconsciously thinking that the number of likes you get is a kind of measure of your worth, comparing themselves to others. I’m happy that you might not be familiar with it or your circle of friends and family but it is an existing problem, wheter you have other mental health issues or not. Some people are lucky to realize that it is effecting their lives negatively so that they can change the way they handle it but I think there are still a lot of folks out there doesn’t even know about it. I might not agree with the way you expressed your last sentence but you are right saying that it is something that should not happen. A digital or social media detox is another way indeed but I think it is still a bigger thing that could be changed with decisions like this from big companies.
