Canada and Singapore's Central Banks are now the first in the world to swap currencies using the blockchain breaking from the traditional standards for the first time 

 

Central Banks for those of you who do not know are a branch of Government that operates on its own and it controls monetary policy such as interest rates and money supply. Their goal is to maintain financial stability and steady and stable inflation

My friend spent quite a while trying to explain blockchain technology to me but it went in one ear and out the other. I don’t think it was that difficult of a concept either. I’m just Boo Boo of the House of Fool.

Don't feel bad guys. The concept is still somewhat vague to me as well and in supposed to know about economics and money

 

I certainly don't understand how Central Banks would exchange this as part of their directive to control monetary policy
