Hitler just happens to be the biggest side effect of what was happening. His group was planning this way before Hitler ever did. It was just a matter of time. The Treaty of Versailles (practically Germany had prohibited to own a "real" army, they had a debt that they would've finished to pay in the 80s... you can look it up), really ****ed everything up in some way. If it wasn't National-socialism, it would've been fascism or communism (btw, communism was just as bad as National-socialism, millions of people died, but since winners write history, it's not really talked about). 6 million Germans were unemployed before Hitler's party had most power, (something around 1/3 of working-age Germans), and the currency was useless. Britain, France and Jews were the ones to blame, and even way before that, anti-semitism was on it's rise. I'm not an expert on the subject, but these are some of the reasons why Hitler and his party got most of the power. There's always someone to blame. This time it was Jews. During WWI, in the Ottoman Empire it was Armenians (different reasons, but you get my point) ...
