S A M E I just don't get the appeal :madge:

It just seems like something for little boys :awkney:

yeah very much.

I was forced to watch the first avengers once (which seems to be one that is held very high within the fandom) and I was bored out of my mind :air: just nothing but ridiculous uninteresting repetitive action. It's just not my thing I guess.

The plot is about a mad titan that commits genocide, by killing half of the people in the universe, he goes planet by planet doing that, destroying families, traumatizing and kidnaping children, teaching them how to be murder machines, then you see heads being cut off, war, blood, guns, etc. I don’t really get how people take their children to see it, because is not really for children :derpga:.

I get it, it appeals to them, toys and all of that, but if you see it from a certain perspective, children shouldn’t watch it.

I am a comic books fan since a very young age and I love these Marvel  characters and stories so much (the X-Men are everything btw) but I simply can't understand the obsession with the Cinematic Universe. It's like a simplified, reductive version of all these things I've been reading about since I was 5. I'm gonna watch it asap but I never was and never will be hyped about superhero films. I know these stories so well and it's getting more and more boring (TO ME) with every movie. I mean some of these storylines and characters exist since the 60s, or even the 40s, give me a ****ing break. Anyways, congrats I guess?

Don't wanna kiss, don't wanna touch, just drink my ****ing coffee and watch 90's cartoons and hush

Literally nobody said that

Basically everybody is coming at me saying my comments are pointless since this movie is breaking all time records so yeah, it does feel like people are implying that, but whatever

I’ve literally made several points and that wasn’t one of them at any moment. It seems like you’re just deflecting at this point :rip:

ShockPop

What I enjoyed most is that it's essentially the story of Noahs ark but with God being defeated in the end... but nobody's clocked it yet.

It's emotional in parts due to relationships between the characters. Spiderman had me tearing up and it was a weird experience haha

I'm so tired of seeing people praise Bradley. Rocket sounds nothing like him. Every time he talks I wonder if Marvel has a contract just to use him for name recognition and he's not actually doing the voice.

it’s literally him wtf

Funny story; There were group of people walk in opening day trying to get tickets not knowing that tickets for all shows and all hours have been sold out. So they had to see Captain Marvel instead. Which is why that movie is back on 2nd place now. It's the Endgame effect.

With this kind of happening, I am pretty sure the second week and third week of Endgame will still be strong. Lots of people still have not get to see it yet. Sure, they will get competition from Detective Pokémon and John Wick 3 but I don't see massive drop just yet. We will see.
