Yeah I agree & I hope no one considers me taking offense to being called conservative as a slight cause it’s not, it’s just not how I identify

No I get u

In a little more right leaning than most here especially on economy.

Not that im right winged per say but I mean by GGD standards cuz this site in general is very left

I often find myself attacked when I don't support socialism to the degree GGD likes it. Say like Bernie Sanders of Ocassio Cortez policies or even Warren

I'd consider myself centre-left on social issues and centre winged (maybe almost centre-right) on economics

Payola I guess, you will see a decline very soon because people will not like it..

Because people keep on attacking:

I don't hate the song, I don't hate Taylor, it's just a thought why compare to what critics says and how people received it, the song gets many plays on the radio, nothing serious or deep.

Lmfao I doubt that it is even payola...we dislike the song but this song if anything will be a MAJOR radio hits (think Cant Stop The Feeling)

She's Taylor Swift! Radio loves her, get over it with "payola this, payola that".

Gaga was radio candy in 2011 with BTW. Taylor just has never faced the decline when it comes to her lead singles success

Why is everytime someone is successful this fan base assumes it's payola but say it's Gaga it's never payola :rip:

Because if Gaga was paying for the amount of radio play she gets, then she needs to sue.

Her father owns a stake in her record label. Nepotism pushed her to stardom. USC and various universities are being plagued by rich white parents paying their children to get into school.

I'm not even going to bother responding to the pressedness of the rest of this or your post, but it's such a kii pressed people like you  are still trying it with this narrative :rip:

The stake Taylor's dad owns (or used to own) in BMG is MINOR, which in no way would have given him any power to force the label to promote Taylor :rip:  Taylor went on radio tours with her mom for months (which has been well documented) to get them to play her music. Why would she do this if it was all payola? Why would she open for other acts for the longest time instead of straight up having her own tour? Why was she restrained by Scott in the earlier eras?

The label practically didn't even exist before Taylor was signed, so they built it from the ground up.

A couple of years later, Taylor and her mother also bought shares of the label, because that the only reason Big Machine happened was purely and because of her success. Did you see the other flop artists on their roster? It has nothing to do with nepotism lmao

who will love me when the night is over

I just don’t get the excessive amount of hate Taylor’s gets, I dislike Me! a lot, but grew on me after a few listens. She does so much for her fans like listening to her album early. I remember reading a while back a pregnant fan was concerned about her unborn child and Taylor paid a doctor to make sure she was ok.

Yeah, after months of it doing well on the charts they finally played it. Radio can **** off tbh. They’ve been dicks to Gaga since like 2014
