I’m tired of reading about Taylor by now. Like it makes me regret when she was quiet and not doing anything.

Like the song is basic. It’s a song I’d get drunk to. Yes it kinda grew on me like a wart. If it wins a grammy, that’ll confirm my conspiracy theories that grammys are bought. 

Like I’m sure loves having haters talk about her. It keeps her name out there.

YouTube removes any views it deems fake

Well it's not that. It's just that radio doesn't have THAT big updates for literally anyone and it's even uncommon for artists on their peaks.

Ariana's songs took time to climb up on radio. It's always a slow rollout for radio. But Taylor's is exploding like nothing. Clearly there's some deal. Also, radio stations changed their pics on Twitter for her promo...

The last time Gaga did payola this big was probably Born This Way (single) and Applause.

I wish Gaga's team would use payola lol. But really, Taylor doesn't use payola. It's an insanely catchy song, even if some of the people on here hate it, and she's one of two female solo artists that regularly sells over 1 million in their opening weeks.

*I...actually think Ariana does use payola for various reasons (look at her album sales vs. streaming views on YT, the amount of play she gets on the radio that even music critics have occasionally mentioned) but LM yelling about that on twitter look desperate or petty.

I don't think the song is trash at all

 

But good music is subjective anyway. It's not like some math formula that has a right or wrong answer

Cuz a lot on this fan base automatically hate on anything generic and not deep as if that automatically makes a song bad or  the artist untalented

 

Not every song has to go to the depth of your souls in symbolism

 

It's fine to have catchy simple and fun generic songs too. I been whatching this music video and bopping to this song like crazy

 

The last time I listened to a song this many times was with 365 from Zedd and Katy

 

The only Gaga song I replayed this much was Judas when it first came out. I was Obssessed with it lol

This is a Gaga fan site. Gaga has always been the subversive alternative pop star. 

Taylor has always represented basic white blonde pop star. She decided to switch from country to pop and turn out a basic hit when in the past she’s bragged about her songwriting and production. Standing there accepting an award claiming to stand for women when not one woman was on stage behind her.

 It is a cash grab. Literally stealing candy from a baby since the majority of her fanbase are little girls.

Her father owns a stake in her record label. Nepotism pushed her to stardom. USC and various universities are being plagued by rich white parents paying their children to get into school. 

I would expect nothing less from a conservative leaning gay giving the opinion that people who don’t like the song means we're pressed just because it’s Taylor. Taylor has bragged about being a major feminist in the media with Lena Dunham. Taylor has bragged about songwriting. She’s won awards for this. This is not up to par with her last work. It screams I just want money and nothing about artistry to go so severe left from her last album.
