RahrahWitch 6,985
Spoiler So um I got questions If nobody is truly dead, like gamora that means they could have just went back again and pulled a past black widow from before she was killed? This time travel stuff got me so confused. Also Loki... He went off with the tesseract so I doubt that's the last we see of him. Does anyone else think Tony did something more then just bring everybody back, I feel like there will be a twist.

Arturo 40,746
Just saw it. It’s such a great movie. The ending was great and not cliched or overkill which is kinda what I was expecting. Also I agree with Captain Marvel not fitting into the narrative that well.
VoldeLorde2 8,389
When all the woman came up in the battle scene, I got goosebumps. The women are more badass than the men, and that’s a fact.

jsn 1,649
I thought the first half was okay, but a bit annoying. However, the second half was amazing and so I was okay with having to sit through the annoying bits to get to the good stuff. Spoiler They completely destroyed Thor as a character in this movie though. I absolutely hated it; it brought down my enjoyment of the film as a whole. Me complaining about Thor was the first thing that came out of my mouth to my friend when the movie finished, and he agreed with me. It's annoying the movie treated Ironman and captain america so respectfully and yet turned Thor into a giant joke for most of the movie. And an unfunny joke at that. It wasn't funny at all; it was awkward as hell...
andy232000 12,599
Spoiler I think almost everything in the story made perfect sense. Almost all is justified and has a reason. I for once thought the 3 hours flew by, it had a nice rhythm. I understand Natasha had no one left but the Avengers + Clint had a family, so her sacrifice makes sense. but DAMN that was just plain harsh to a beloved character...I´m kinda hoping they bring a past Natasha back or something. If Cap returned all stones in their cronological order wouldn´t that mean neither gamora nor natasha ever died? or because natasha dies out of her timeline its irreversible similar to how past Thanos travels to the future and dies there? Captain Marvel was the most useless character in the MCU. I lover her solo film, and love her character, but other than saving Tony and Nebula she literally did nothing else for the film. Destroying the ship did not depended on her, and the writers could have easily created a different version. Her one on one fight with Thanos was badass, but lead to no where, and after Marvel claiming she was the strongest superhero and was going to save the day, she really was just not necessary. Wanda slays Thors character was butchered I was NOT happy AT ALL with Sam getting Caps shield (even if it IS justified)
Red 98,438
Don’t get me wrong, I liked the movie a lot, but I still think Infinty War was better. I like unpredictable movies. Spoiler The only real flaw of the movie was the way that Iron Man and Nebula left the space + Ant Man left the quantum whelm to me, I think both would be better if they rescued themselves somehow. Like, a rat saved Scott? If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.
Red 98,438
Spoiler I love Captain Marvel to death but I think they were right giving her not that much screen time and importance hence this was meant to be a celebration of the original six (with emphasis on Cap and Iron Man). Like, I wish she killed Thanos but if she did it would be disrespectful to the story. I am glad that she destroyed the ship like it was a twig and Thanos literally had to punch her with the power stone to knock her, she is strong as **** and she did not have to save the day to prove it If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating. Guest
Omg I finally got the chance to watch the film yesterday and I'll post a lil review below. Spoiler Positives: They nailed that epic fight scene, it felt like The Battle Of The Five Armies on drugs. At that point I literally curled up into a ball on my seat and my mouth was hanging wide open. I think they absolutely nailed most of the character arcs, it was really emotional and felt like a wonderful end to the Infinity Saga. I love Captain America's end and Peggy is my favourite character, when they dropped that trailer of footage from previous films I was bawling my eyes out when she came on, and it was the same in this film. The only thing I wasn't really a fan of was how they did Thor, I feel like they could have had equal comic relief without re-iterating a lot of the humour in Valkyrie's role from Thor: Ragnarok, but I'll elaborate more on that later. In addition to Cap, they rounded off Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Iron Man, and Thanos' arcs really well imo. I pretty much loved everything about the film except for the few negatives I'll explain below. Negatives: I really don't like how people who don't like Captain Marvel are being called sexist, I was so excited for her movie and while I really enjoyed it I find her character a bit much. I just think she's too powerful, and while I was glad that her weaknesses were shown when Thanos knocked her with the Power Stone, I don't like how she just destroyed Thanos' ship. I feel like they could have had it stick around for a little longer before disappearing during Tony's snap. Also how she just swooped in and saved Iron Man and Nebula, in a move very typical of the Russos they hyped up Iron Man being stuck in space pre-release, just to give it almost no substance in the actual film. I'll talk about how I wish it had panned out a little later. That was the one part of her solo film I didn't enjoy; what I've always loved and respected about Marvel is how they generally stray away from that clichéd 'protagonist gets a whole lot of power and blows everything up' ending, which I felt like they kind of did in her solo film. I also agree with @Red that they skipped over the issues set up at the end of Infinity War (other than the obvious issue of the snap) being Iron Man's dire position in space and Ant-Man being stuck in the quantum realm. Like a rat?? Really??? What I would have loved is if they took out that unnecessary five minutes of Ant-Man just wandering around and instead given him some cool rescue scene involving the time vortexes (another red herring, I really thought it meant something when Janet said that). Maybe he could purposefully go into one and then pop out at a different moment in time, and somehow communicate with Tony once he's back on Earth and trying to create time travel through technology to eventually be saved. Black Widow's 'is that an old recording?' line has me thinking; he could do something similar to how Thanos accessed Nebula's future 'memories' in order to communicate with the Avengers that he's stuck in a different time plane, before helping Tony unlock time travel in order to save him and thus the Infinity Stones. This leads me to the other flaw; I really thought that they'd have a callback to Iron Man 1 in a logical way (similar to how they put the clanging in the credits music) by having Iron Man do a really cool mechanic-y thing. They had two options to do this, both of which somewhat disappointed me. The part when he was in space, and when he was creating the time machine. The time machine part was really the only part that majorly ticked me off during the film, he just suddenly discovers that this shape unlocks this impossible scientific discovery?? They had so many wonderful references to previous films (e.g. the elevator scene w Cap and Hydra) they could have had him lock himself in his garage for ages trying to sort out this damn time machine, which could have had some great humour in it, similar to Ant-Man's first experience with time travel (the baby and old-man sequence). And as I said earlier, Captain Marvel's rescue of Iron Man and Nebula was too quick, this could have been another option for Iron Man to essentially tear his spaceship apart and rebuild it so they can get home (think The Martian). I do think they could have intertwined Iron Man's rescue and Ant-Man's rescue together quite well. Oh and Thor was just a bit much, I see what they were trying to do but frankly the whole Thor saga has almost become a bit of a joke, like Jane Foster's arc is a mess, and to turn the glorious god of thunder into a fat joke that had identical humour to Ragnarok (Ragnarok's humour was awesome, but they've done that already and it felt a bit familiar watching Endgame) just seemed... not right. They could have easily made a different Avenger the fat alcoholic, or just leave that out entirely. @RAMROD you're the other big Marvel stan I know on here (the other being Red), what are your thoughts on my potential alternate events of the film? But to make things clear, I did adore the film, 9.5/10, Top 3 Marvel movies for sure. Would anyone be down for a Marvel movies megarate?
