FentyGa 14,340
so there's a specific type of music that i've grown to love, but i only know a couple of songs in this style, and that's because some of my favourite pop artists have done it here are some examples: 2NE1's goodbye and kesha's finding you vaguely fit it, but not that much so, is there a name for this? and do y'all know any great songs similar to these? likeitrough 5,651
acoustic pop? there'd be plenty of playlists of that category on spotify if you use that.
Dancin 1,120
In my opinion this is folk, but it also can fall under acoustic pop. You should check out Niall Horan and dodie if you like this type of music. hmmm
ice bear 1
i see what you mean it's hard to define, but artists like Daughter, Wolf Alice and Tei Shi might interest you if the aspect you're searching for is the outdoors/countryside ambiance with pop vocals also Kacey Musgraves' "Happy and Sad" and "Oh What a World" and Blanco White's "Nocturne" is what i'd call a dark version of this kind of sound   ice heard one side from above
therokinrolla 84
Definitely folk/folk pop/ acoustic pop. It's a really nice little subgenre and some of my fav songs fit it. Some somgs that I think really fit: Traveling Song - Ryn Weaver (this is my fav song of all time so I have to throw it in sk) Slow Burn - Kacey Musgraves (honestly all of Golden Hour) What A Time - Julia Michaels and Niall Horan Give You What You Like - Avril Lavigne And some songs that I think fit a lil but may not be a perfect match Light On - Maggie Rogers Venice Bitch - Lana Del Rey (maybe Mariner's Apartment Complex too)  Happy listening queen #1 Heavy Metal Lover Stan

Babel 40,887
I think it’s mostly folk or folk influenced pop. You'll love Nelly Furtado’s second album ‘Folklore’ where she explores the genre in all its form.  her work has always been influenced by that genre so you may find similar songs in her other albums
