As Alexander pointed out the attacks are mainly ignored because it's not a developed nation, majority of people only tend to care when stuff happens in the West (and NZ falls part of the west before you try)

I mean, there were attacks in Yemen  yesterday that  a very high number of causalities but not a word  for majority of the media outlets yet alone celebrities. There were bombings in Pakistan the other day again though with not a word  for majority of the media outlets yet alone celebrities. So let's not. 

These attacks are horrific and heartbreaking to hear about.

I don't think there's any way to prove that the "main" reason it's ignored is because it's Sri Lanka. I think a lot of it is also because people choose to ignore it and be vague about it is because the victims are Christians.

But we also know that psychiatrically ill people can channel their paranoia or depression or extreme self-loathing into bizarre beliefs that sometimes lead to the destruction of others. Those beliefs can look just like intense hatred — of a particular person or a whole race of people.

Also he has only been referred to as a "White supremacist", "Mass murderer", "Mentally challenged lone wolf" and never once "Terrorist" by Fox News.

The only reason it would bother you to say that is if you harbored some kind of hatred in your heart and I'll just pray for you. There were terror attacks in Iraq for years and nobody cared.

It's not because they are Christians, it's because it's not a western country.. here lies the problem and it comes from "woke" or not "woke", it's just privileged western people that only cares when the problem is close to them.
