Celebrities, presidential candidates etc. all specifically condemning anti-Muslim violence and rhetoric yet all we got here are a few vague "thoughts and prayers" tweets about "all humanity" being attacked. I'm saying that the woke police seem to get really bothered when tragedies are forgotten from foreign countries but when it's foreign Christians suddenly they don't care. Never in my life As Alexander pointed out the attacks are mainly ignored because it's not a developed nation, majority of people only tend to care when stuff happens in the West (and NZ falls part of the west before you try) I mean, there were attacks in Yemen yesterday that a very high number of causalities but not a word for majority of the media outlets yet alone celebrities. There were bombings in Pakistan the other day again though with not a word for majority of the media outlets yet alone celebrities. So let's not. These attacks are horrific and heartbreaking to hear about. We going to boo

I think a lot of it is also because people choose to ignore it and be vague about it is because the victims are Christians. 86-OUT

Find someone sympathizing with him and justifying him and others like him because I know of nothing. I thought Fox News was quite popular among republicans? This article is literally just sympathizing and justifying his actions on the basis of his skin color mental state. https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/charleston-why-didnt-anyone-help-dylann-roof We know, of course, that Roof expressed hateful white supremacist opinion. But we also know that psychiatrically ill people can channel their paranoia or depression or extreme self-loathing into bizarre beliefs that sometimes lead to the destruction of others. Those beliefs can look just like intense hatred — of a particular person or a whole race of people. Also he has only been referred to as a "White supremacist", "Mass murderer", "Mentally challenged lone wolf" and never once "Terrorist" by Fox News. Omar's tweet is vague and All lives matter-ish. This is an attack on Christians not just "people celebrating Easter" (just say Christians) or "any faith". I think you need to be explicitly clear in situations like this, the vagueness allows people not to confront the reality. It’s not a competition. Stop spamming this thread trying to divide people and trying to make it seem like no one cares about Christians. That is absolutely not true.

You already are diminishing their deaths by refusing to explicitly call out violence against Christians. The only reason it would bother you to say that is if you harbored some kind of hatred in your heart and I'll just pray for you. And the bias here is absolutely clear - it just happens to implicate liberals more generally as they are more bigoted towards Christians. Like with Hillary and Obama's tweets about "Easter worshippers" . Like, is it really that hard to just say killing Christians is wrong? Why does everyone get so vague about that? I think it's a fair question! 86-OUT

Christians are being killed daily and no one bats an eye for some reason. Truly sad. Dress up as Jesus. If any PM would do that, then you would complain again and say they’re looking like Muslims, since many Arab traditional robes are closest today to what Jesus was wearing. What NZ has to do with Sri Lanka? Ask about their own government, what they’re doing to show solidarity? You are using this horrible tragedy for desperate political agenda and few likes, I have not seen you and those who agree with you, saying almost anything in NZ attack thread and we all know why, so don’t talk about selective outrage. You are actually mad people showed solidarity to victims, that tells a lot. FreePalestine
River 128,518
There were terror attacks in Iraq for years and nobody cared. It's not because they are Christians, it's because it's not a western country.. here lies the problem and it comes from "woke" or not "woke", it's just privileged western people that only cares when the problem is close to them. anyway, we can really discuss it on another thread, 200+ people died and at the end people care about pointing fingers.. So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy
