Zander 14,944
As much as I enjoy the idea of it he’s never going to get impeached. I feel dems are just wasting their time.

If the House impeaches and then Senate removes a president from office they have two options: Remove from office or remove from office and ban X official from ever holding public office
Reginald 13,841
After the very obvious attempts to obstruct justice revealed in the Mueller investigation, he deserves it. He had every intent, and the desire/willpower to do it. But, there's the ever-present threat behind Trump of a Pence presidency - a career politician (not a business mogul turned reality tv star) who actually knows what he's doing, and how to manipulate the system to hurt us all. Are Bernie, Biden, or Warren strong enough to combat Pence in 2020? I say yes, but they could have a far easier campaign against Trump

shoful 13,304
The Dems are so scared of getting exposed. Well now Trump and Barr are coming to bring down the hammer. #DrainTheSwamp "My name is Dita, I'll be your Mistress tonight..."
mauvais 0
If the House Democrats don't proceed with impeachment, I think it is, as Jamelle Bouie tweeted, "an abdication of constitutional responsibility." I really like his thread about impeachment being an obligation at this point...
HorusRa2 5,005
As much as I love the idea, we might as well wait until 2020 and focus on the economy and the issues. Cause Mike Pence and some other douche running in his place sounds harder to beat than Trump.
WildAmerican 13,672
So stupid. Impeaching trump is a dead end, cause the Senate would never convict him. It would also animate his base and guarantee his re-election, Elizabeth.

The House votes to impeach, the Senate turns right back around and votes no to convict. That's all that would happen, other than making the Dems look silly, which is the last thing we need. Trump must be elected out of office

LateToCult 42,092
At this point I think voting him out will be more effective than impeachment. It sends a much stronger message imo. He’s polling significantly lower than Bernie rn. I’m sure Trump will gain support the closer we get to the election but there’s a very good chance of him simply losing in 2020.
