This trend of articles citing like three tweets as "backlash" is always amusing to me.

Indeed! They did the same to us with the "monster are attacking the movie Venom" when a few accounts were doing so even if 99,999% of us monsters didn't contribute to this nasty campaign lmao!

Madonna tweeted  for Israel to stop the  violence that have killed many innocent people,  till this date why in the world is there this types of acts; suffering of too many children women & men as well

Its a call for freedom all these years, she’s been doing , what I meant to say since the 70’s many artists have brought people around the  world together as brothers and sisters in a way, but we have not yet bring the world together

Russia banning Gaga, and her message of acceptance etc.,

Does Israel control the World ?

Why is Madonna performing at that country anyway ?

Because all governments and countries around the world including America does crimes and violate human rights, so cherry picking Israel is wrong. Singers dont go to perform for governments, they go to perform for people and their fans so Madonna should travel anywhere. Why did Gaga perform in Dubai then where homosexuality is illegal?

Please point out to me what the difference between Israel and America is because they are the same exact thing this is why its funny to me seeing these kind of comments.

This is ridiculous as hell. The fact that she's performing in Eurovision , which is a non-political event, has nothing to do to with the Israeli governments actions on Palestine.

She's not the first, nor the last artist to perform in countries like that. I mean, where were everyone when Gaga performed in Russia and Azerbaijan for example?
Should artists just ignore their fans in those countries just because the governments are f*cked? :oprah:

In that case they might as well boycott the US too for electing Trump.

Non-political? The votes are entirely political, who votes for who, etc.... and rarely have anything to do with the performances. Eurovision is the most political show

Not all, but some people vote for other countries because of political reasons, but that doesn't change the purpose of Eurovision. The show itself is non-political and will always be.

All of these people praising her now, will eat their words if she actually says anything about Palestinians and against Netanyahu and Trump. Just wait.

they even had dinner together.

PS Netanyahu is a far-right nationalist PM opposed to any potential Palestinian State, having declared that "Israel is a state only for Jews"! And of course the Israeli State "supports" "diversity" (see Pinkwashing) but only outside Israel...:ally:

It's incredibly political, trust me. It's common knowledge. There's even a section on Wikipedia about it.
