The anthem "Born This Way" accompanies the second half of the trailer, marking the first time a Lady Gaga song has been used for a Japanese film. The movie's producers say the song's message aligns with that of the movie: that everyone is wonderful as they are, no matter their circumstances. The message aligns with the lives of the movie's characters, all doing their best in their own varied circumstances. The Fable centers on the title character, a legendary killer trained since childhood to obey his boss. On said boss's orders, he is lying low in Osaka for a year, attempting to live life as a normal person. The Fable hits theaters in Japan on June 21.
