I know that Gantz and co. are not the best, I know they are not so far than Netanyahu, but I had hope that it'll be his end in politics, but he keeps on coming back.. like in some sense, to start a new era without him, to recover the country from the right-wing virus and maybe in 4 years, we would have a good left wing government.. Gantz could've added a legitimizing veneer of respectability to that brand of anti-arab nationalism while Netanyahu is just openly allying with fascists. Hadash was always had the traitors reputation because it's a mixed party so as long that there are Israeli-Arabs, they are hated, so the coalition with Ta'al didn't really change that, they would never be part of any government.. even a left one, unless Meretz would be the biggest party, which is unlikely. I didn't really like the merge with Ta'al, but it was necessary for both to reach the minimum seats number and they succeed they got 6 seats. My problem with Ta'al is that they don't work for the their voters, the Israeli-Arabs are suffering from lack of infrastructure, high murders rate (around 15 women were murdered in 2018), illegal weapons, lack of proper education and many more problems, in some sense they gave a high priority to the conflict and forgot on the way their voters that lives in Israel under this right-wing racist government. A GGD member living there told me once that local medias were often telling the masses that the rest of the world was hating them and encouraging them to defend themselves etc. Maybe we would also vote for guys who don't help the peace process if we were in their shoes then...
