Netanyahu: a Palestinian state wont be created

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told Israeli media in an interview yesterday that he intends to annex West Bank settlements, “if possible with American support”. In an interview with Arutz 7, Netanyahu spoke of a three-stage plan with regard to the West Bank, the third stage of which “is to apply Israeli law to the communities in Judea and Samaria, which we will do in the next term. I want to do it gradually. I want to do it if possible with American support. ”When pressed whether the White House knew of his plans, Netanyahu said, “Sure.” Asked about the Trump administration’s response to the plan, he answered, “They will react as they will react. We will see. These are my principles.”Netanyahu reiterated his pledge not to uproot settlements or settlers. “If we do not tear out the settlers, then who are they going to live under? They are going to be under Palestinian sovereignty? That is dead.” “A Palestinian state will not be created, not like the one people are talking about. It won’t happen.”

Sad thing is the US and other countries will either support him or turn a blind eye on this whole issue until all of the Palestinian territories are completely annexed. It's been the case for decades.

I do not support him by any means and I do hope the middle-left party will win tomorrow so they could replace him. (There are elections tomorrow)

But it's absurd to think none of you were here to comment about this thread. It's horrible how one-sided you guys are and you are willing to talk only about the things you want to hear. This conflict is far more complicated than you make it seem. And as someone who supports the idea of a Palestinian state, it's not at all costs.

I am commenting about this thread - it's about what Netanyahu said, and I commenting on my opinion of him based on his remarks - again, which is what this thread is based on. :awkney: The only feasible peace solution for Israel and Palestine in my mind is two separate defined states with no intermittent land, and Netanyahu is literally working counteractive to a peaceful solution. That's why I said he's disgusting. So, tell me again how I was here not to comment on this thread? :sure:

I meant the thread I posted below.

Where were your opinions there? Or at any threads that showed Israel's side in this conflict which, again, is not as simple as you make it be.

You are clearly one-sided and regardless of the content of this specific thread, I think it's absurd how some of you just don't see that you're commenting only on what you want to hear.

@Petrichor Also, with just a quick glimpse in your recent activity, the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is the one of the few topics in the World News section you have an opinion on.

I don't think you're from Israel/Palestine or have any special connection to Israel or Palestine. So I'm wondering what makes you comment on Benjamin Natenyahu that he is "disgusting" but didn't make you comment that or anything on the following threads:

And many many more...

So you're not only one-sided on this, this is the only topic you truly care about it seems... Hmmm..

This screams double standards.

I don't have time to comment on every post on this forum for Christ's sake. I can opine on what I want to when I want to - I have no obligation to reply to those topics. I have opinions on every one of them. Both sides have been aggressive in the conflict so yes, Palestine isn't a darling while Israel isn't; they're both wrong for fighting. However, Israel is absolutely the bigger agitator in this issue. Also what do those topics have to do with the issue at hand? You don't post in all of those topics, sweetie. Those topics barely have any replies - why am I being held to a higher standard.

Gov Hooka

abhorrent. netanyahu needs to go. palestine is a legitimate state and israel should stop the illegal settlements. im glad that with the help from progressives in the US, the Democrat party is slowly but surely leaning farther away from blindly supporting Israel. Their government needs to be held accountable.

We could also tag you in each thread where Israeli snipers shot unarmed people, medics and children, where Israeli soldiers are harassing families in the middle of the night, where they physically abuse 9 year old kid in school etc and ask why you didn’t comment there? You think you’re not one sided? in each one you’d blame the victims.

and why are you trying to defend this literal monster in a thread about him and his despicable views? He embraced the far right and he openly says his racist views, maybe you have sympathy for that??

Stop trying to derail the thread with links and make everyone look antisemitic if they don’t comment where you want them to comment.
