funny how one user is going after a random user for "being one sided" when over the past four years, i've seen a group of other users frequently make threads covertly supporting israel's indefensible nationalism and baiting this site against palestinians with targeted threads... just my two cents

The clear difference is that I don't comment in the world section almost at all. And when I do, it is mostly about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict because I live there and I am personally connected to it.

As a Israeli, I always supported the idea of a Palestinian state but as I said above, not at all costs. That has always been my opinion about this. I don't think Benjamin Natenyahu is a monster, I think his views are different than mine and I believe the left-wing parties will make Israel a better place and hopefully solve this issue.

I will never get people like @Petrichor and probably the others who have no personal connection to this conflict what so ever be so one-sided and opinionated solely on that topic. If it's not anti-semtism, it's anti-zionism. And if it's not that, it's double standards.

And because of that, I feel I should expose those exact people. Opens your eyes abit.

Check out my Twitter - I have plenty of opinions, and I voice them in a public forum, not in a vacuum chamber like GagaDaily. Then tell me again how one-sided or laser-focused I am. I'm not a bigot like you're implying, I'm sorry you're affected by this conflict, but I have the right to comment on whatever I want to when I want to, whether it affects me or not. You obviously have a bias as you live there, so if you can't participate in a civil discussion that features opinions that conflict with that bias, then I suggest you don't participate at all.

I do see the entire picture - I'm educated, and I've spent years researching the Israeli-Palestine conflict. You just seem perplexed that someone can have a view that opposes yours.

I criticized @Petrichor because he's one of many people that have quite more opinions on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict than many other bigger problems in the world without even being personally connected to this situation.

It's absurd. 

I'm not saying you can't be interested slightly more on one topic. But a lot of the times, the reasons behind that obsession borders with anti-zionism/anti-semitism.

 

 

And yes. I want the left to win because the right have different views than I do. I believe the left will lead the country to a better place in all aspects. That's why there are elections. To vote for who represents you the most...
