Dominic 11,922
LOVED the book, the original was alright but this new one was brilliant! Thought it was really well made - only criticism was the actress who played the mum just wasnt convincing and I didn't really like her. See Aquaman. I was cringing at every bit of dialogue and that “twist” was seen coming a mile away!

Plus the acting is much better than Dale Midkiff's deadpan performance throughout the original and the annoying and loud Ellie. There are many things the new Pet Sematary done that could have been better, but it holds up really well compared to the 1989 film. Tomeito - Tomahto There was very little need to make this movie in the first place. The new ‘It’ managed to stand out in its own way with its acting, adorable cast and impressive design/makeup. This movie is just bland, cliched and half-baked. They probably knew it sucked so they went so hard on the marketing campaign. They even had a reddit “storytelling contest”

Which they should have never included.
