The discussion involved the “morning-after” pill and the possibility of the FDA allowing it for over-the-counter use. Elisabeth Hasselback became quite emotional during the segment, and Walters tried to remedy the situation leading into the commercial break. Let’s just say Hasselback wasn’t a fan of how it was done... What do you think about the whole debacle at The View? Do you agree with Walters or Hasselback? The hug at the end annoyed me though, because I just don't like Hasselback, and I never will. She just represents a portion of society that I absolutely loathe. It's shocking that the morning after pill was a debatable topic in the US. It's always been available over the counter here. That's sort of of the point of the pill, easy access. I’ve been a fan of the View and watched religiously since 2008. But there are times where Barbara’s personality and POV in life gets in the way of her being a professional to her co-hosts which results in undermining them at times. Regardless of how I feel about Elizabeth’s perspective and ideologies, I’ve would’ve reacted or felt the same way. Glad she came back on the air.
