~$20 million in a little over a month is insane.

The fact that his average donation actually went down from 2016 says a lot about who's donating to his campaign.

Never mind

Wish Kamala or Beto or Pete could do this

While Bernie has amazing ideas, he's too old.

We need someone who lives this generation, not someone who has grown to learn it

He should pass his ideas on to the candidates above

People like you make me sick.

He is not too old. There are some people who live to be much older than Bernie is right now (See Jimmy Carter). Nobody is saying Jimmy Carter is too old to build homes for habitat for humanity or any of the other humanitarian things he continues to do.

So kindly, please don’t vote. You don’t deserve to vote with an attitude like that.

His platform has been the same since he was young. His age is irrelevant.

The fact that you put Beto and Pete in the same basket :fail:

A younger candidate would be nice, sure; but Beto is not your guy. Pete is the closest to Bernie, in terms of ideas, you’ll get out of all the young candidates. Beto refutes them and replaces them with platitudes.

We will have to see if Pete can surge in the polls over the course of the primaries and, more importantly, who polls a victory over Trump with a greater margin.

Regardless of who gets the Dem nomination, if the DNC shortchanges Bernie again, they're sealing the fate of another 4 years of Trump -  Dems can't afford to alienate the voters of the most popular politician in the country.

The irony that each candidate u listed has "grown to learn" their platforms by imitating bernie's lifelong policies. lmao

I agree with you, but there’s a big difference between participating in HFH and running the country.

His age doesn’t bother me because Trump is only two or three years younger than him and he hasn’t had any problem working to enact his hateful agenda. If he were 90, I’d care. As is, I don’t care at all.

Thank you for actually respecting my opinion instead of childishly insulting me

You ageists need to learn something.

Age is irrelevant as long as you're representing what the people want. Bernie's ideas are consistent with most younger people and middle aged adults.

The criticism of age comes when people are NOT actually representing most people in society and should let younger people with newer ideas come into power.

Example: Trump. Let's start off with the fact he did not win the popular vote. Just right there he is not representing most voters. Then we have the fact the  groups he is representing are mostly older, white, rural voters. Trump loses in most other demographics.

I agree it is amazing but his campaign has been actively asking people to make multiple small donations instead of a big large one.

They've actually been asking people who donate $1000+ to split that up into no less than 5 payments. In fact, it was earlier revealed that the interns are focusing on the QUANTITY of donations over total amount.

Regardless of that, he still raised A LOT but I wouldn't look at the average donation as any indication of his demographics since they're being fudged a bit...

No no... @hurricane326 has a point. How dare us want a president that best represents our generations values and progress towards equal rights :vegas:
