It’s a very fine line. If someone I barely knew that was in a position of power over me came up behind me and kissed me, I would describe that as sexual harassment. She’s not. Either way, the notion that this sort of behavior doesn’t matter because the words “sexual harassment” haven’t been attached to it is a problem.

And he’s all but announced. He almost did it by accident a week ago.

I’m not saying it doesn’t matter. In fact, I find it creepy and inappropriate. 

But I’m also not going to lynch Joe Biden for something that isn’t necessarily disqualifying. 

I’m not interested in voting for him in the primaries but I don’t think we should cross this dangerous line of accusing people for things publicly that might not be as damning as we would think.

Right, but you and others in this thread are trying to downplay it by attempting to draw a distinction between what he did and “actual” sexual harassment.

The tempered criticism he’s received over the past few days certainly wouldn’t qualify as a “lynching.” The only press outlet that covered it substantively was Fox, and they obviously only did because he’s a democrat and they're a right-wing propaganda outfit. 

We’ll see if other women come forward.

Either people can speak up or not. She spoke up. She stated what happened and how she felt. She understandably doesn't want someone that made her feel uncomfortable to be president. I'm failing to see the problem with anything. This is not an example of an obviously false accusation, or something that is being blown up. It's making people question whether he would be a good candidate. That kind of thing will happen in a presidential race. There's no need to defend Biden.

It's creepy to my eyes, I would freak out because I hate to be touched by people that I didn't choose to be touched by, I knew a guy that was like this, he couldn't really control it and he described it as an impulse to show love to people but not sexual, because he really loved to be close and touchy with people and not everyone appreciated it.

Like idk, it's creepy but also it's kinda sad that we see love as a bad thing, because in a perfect world, it would be just a cute gesture and nothing more

The fact that he addressed doesn’t undo the creepiness of the act and the long list of other creepy things he has done. It doesn’t disqualify her right to put it out for people to know. 

Biden has been on the wrong side of history too many times.

Ok, but what really makes you so sure it’s BS? Republicans said the same thing about Kavaunagh. What makes this so different when we have Biden ON TAPE doing inappropriate things to women. Flores is not an isolated event and that much is absolutely clear. 

Are you all going to hold the fact that Ford waited until his appointment to accuse Kavanaugh against her too?
