And the idea for this film just sounds stupid. They are smart for making the movie in a way that someone who hasn’t seen the prior ones could still likely enjoy. Genuinely the franchise is as torn to shreds (still not as bad) as Insidious. I just think the debut films were such a turn in the world of horror that it's a shame they have been milked out.
