Her most recent album is dark pop and industrial (So much like Born This Way) Yet she is still in an "underground" artist even though she has made music for 4 years already But could Poppy be mainstream in a world of Billie Eilishes, Halseys, and Ariana Grandes I think she could, but her "weird" factor stops her from being a billboard charter What do you guys think? I fell for this actually at the beginning, I immediately didn't like her for that, but I gave her a chance and she's pretty interesting.. Her first EP lead me to believe she would be the next big thing but Tirancid Suckchair quickly destroyed her chances lmao he’s pushed her into this overwhelming concept & paired it with underwhelming music trying to pass it off as intellectually stimulating pieces of work when the lyrics & music are overdone & basic & then people act as if she was the first to ever make up a character to make money lmao like there’s no substance behind her music “my hair & make up makes you envious” “I’m so ready to get gone, feeling like a powerful girl” “we’re so beyond living like typical girls” like are you serious lol you’d have to be a 10yo to actually like her lyrics...
