Even a green screen can be a decent production And to me honestly Gaga hasn't had a great video since GUY that was so many years ago Also I'm sure Gaga has had green screen videos too. Paparazzi definitely used it in some dancing scenes I still think there’s a clear difference between what Gaga does and what Katy (and all the others) does. Pokerface was set entirely in one house, but each frame was epic and artfully done. Bad Romance was filmed on only one set with minimal changes per scene but it still seems so intricate. Even TEOG had me hooked because you could feel her passion the entire time. I get Katy is an entirely different artist, But I whole heartedly believe she’s selling out. OFTB and TD were pop masterpieces sound wise and TD had some ok videos. Now it seems she’s just being pulled in every direction by her label, producer, and corporate people and she doesn’t have her own vision or personality. I don’t even know who she really is. I have strong opinions (as you can tell) and this is something I’ve thought a lot about. I still love Katy but I really feel her career hasn’t turned out to be as great as it could’ve been. I also think Katy relies on other people creatively and does not make a lot of the video concepts herself... she's still the most viewed and her videos are very entertaining. Gaga is at the same level in her own way, but she has a more artistic aproach. Both are good, but Katy takes a bit of the lead. I just don't vibe with what she does. And the vast majority of her music videos are ultra cornball colorful crap for a certain type of consumer. I don't personally dig it.
