I Don't Want Gaga to Play Dazzler

while i agree that dazzler is the perfect chance to see gaga play a heroine, considering both are huge pop stars who can pull off similar aesthetics, dazzler is... in short terms, a traitor.

the whole point of the xmen plots is a metaphor for rebellion against injustice and the abuse of power and discrimination from the goverment. well, when things get tough, dazzler turns on the xmen and becomes a snitch for s.h.i.e.l.d.

she basically turns her back on her own kind to work with the goverment in hunting down the leaders of the mutant rebelation front (Uncanny XMen 2013) on a time where mutants are on a historic low and are being discriminated against and hunted down like animals by homo sapiens.

in MY opinion, if gaga wants to join the MCU (which i dont think she does) there are better roles for her! emma frost is an excellent choice if she wants to be in for the long run (she has the greatest character development of all xmen).

I don’t want her to be associated with Disney or the MCU period. I don’t think they would offer her anything interesting.

plot and mythos aside, Dazzler is legit too obvious to the point where EVERYONE and their mother would look at Dazzler and think "yeah this is lady gaga" and it would work against her similar to how AHS worked against her to a degree, how people sometimes see her as fake and vapid they saw the Countess and were like "yeah this is lady gaga's persona, it's weird, emotional, vapid, sexual and fashion oriented". Where as Ally was nothing like Gaga in look or personality.

Although imagine a Dazzler movie where Gaga makes an original Disco-Dance soundtrack to go with the movie. Ugh YES!

Emma would be the perfect choice for her to tackle because Emma's role in the Xmen universe requires a lot of drama especially when it comes to the Cyclops psychic, turned real life affair. 

BUT, given how strict Disney/Marvel contracts are and their length I can't see her doing it since it would mean she'd be contractually obliged to make a new movie almost every 12-14 months and depending on her character's involvement in the story it would take her away from her music career and family life a lot more.

Hmm, I’m not 100% sold on her being Dazzler but I wouldn’t mind her playing the role of a traitor if the character’s motives were compelling enough and there was real depth to them.

I wouldn't want her to play Dazzler just because I think there are better heroes (or villains) she could play.

That said, I don't think Gaga's one to join a franchise like the MCU. Even though I'd think it'd be really cool, the MCU is time-consuming and I don't think it'd allow the creative leisure that Gaga would want. Feige is strict about what he wants, plus I don't see Gaga really taking interest in the comic book/superhero stuff.

I'd like to hear what kind of music she would sing as Dazzler. It seems like a perfect role at first glance. Though, I've never heard of Dazzler until just now. They would have to be reasonable with volume level on the set, to not damage hearing/vocal chords.

The only reason I wouldn’t want to see her in this role is because it’d be like watching LadyGaga play Lady Gaga with powers. I’d rather see someone in this role that doesn’t make music like Katy Perry or someone

She can always play a compelling villain to earn the acting nod from industry insiders and the masses in general. Villains don't appear too often unless you're the main guy like Thanos but even so, he's probably just gonna be there for 2 movies, 3 at most. So a villain could be a choice to be a part of the MCU.

She's still not Kitty Pride or Mystique, which I reckon as major character 

I mean, nobody wanted to make film about Emma Frost as solo, but Kitty Pride was planned to be made before  the Fox-Disney deal happened. And still in development aka not axed after the deal made. And Frost seems to be on the lower rank on lots of X-Men  power and popularity lists.  Although both are debuting on the same comics, (Uncanny X-Men 129), January 10, 1980), but Pride almost always on Top 5 or Top 10, along with either Rogue, Storm and Jean Grey/Phoenix, which is saying something.
