Quartz 12,575 Posted March 27, 2019 Author Share Posted March 27, 2019 Bad Comments for Apocalypse @ARTGOD - Probably the most disappointing season so far. It has good ideas and the story actually is pretty straightforward, but its biggest problem is how rushed everything was, it felt like an abridged version of a longer show at times. It’s just so weird?ly paced, it has no tension or time to develop characters or anything beyond a surface level, while at the same time wasting precious time on irrelevant fan service. At times it feels like it’s just going from plot point to plot point until it ends. I wanna like it more than I do b?ecause I like the characters and the story it’s trying to tell, but I just can’t help but feel so underwhelmed when I watch it. @Panchecco - I actually re-evaluated this season since it aired. It used to be higher in my list but the ridiculousness of some of the episode eventually made me kinda hate most of it. I consider this season as a Coven sequel as its connection to Murder House could be e?asily removed from the show and the season would have still worked fine. The main problem is that we were introduced to who Michael was in the very first season so having to watch him find his way as an awkward and bratty teen was kinda of obnoxious especially since we knew who he was going to become eventually. The editing was also a problem for me, had they kept the episodes in chronological order it would have probably been more enjoyable. The "loop" ending was also... a choice. Especially considering it's NOT the final season. @Rhiannon - I really enjoyed the fact that most of the season was flashback b?ut I was disapointed when the characters of the first 3 episodes were killed. I would've loved to see more character development for them. I think the season should've been 1 or 2 episodes longer @DontDoubtDavid - Was okay. First episode is my worst nightmare, so I was expecting more of that level of scary. Was a little bit of a let down. But Cody Fern is bae. @robbiemalik - It started out great but it started to lose it’s self and the ending could’ve been way better. @LittleMichael - Too much fanservice and the end was..........well......... disappointing Inside, we are really made the same. 🕊 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

The main reason is because I love Glam, fashion and the fact of being THAT EXTRA and? this is what the season was. I loved the outfits, the story, the level of extra of some characters, the setting, the atmosphere and the link to Murder House. Gaga in it is just the Cherry on the top (and giving us THE BEST and MOST ICONIC entrance of a character EVER in a show). All in one my favorite season of AHS ever and making AHS my favorite show. Denis O'Hare has the best character of the season. Don't @ me. Mirages Loved the goriness and seductiveness of the season. The story lacked a bit from time to time but the fact that it looked shallow sometimes played into it's overall theme. @Panchecco This season gave us some of the most iconic characters including The Countess which is one of my favorite characters ever. I loved how she tied every storyline together and watching Gaga's acting get better each episode was incredible. The set is also the most gorgeous out of all the seasons. The plot at times got boring and frustrating as it became obvious pretty early that John was the 10 Commandment Killer. I absolutely love the score and the cinematography. @DontDoubtDavid Lady Gaga, enough said, lol. @LittleMichael Love it, maybe because of Gaga or more probably because of Liz Taylor, a true icon of AHS @VoldeLorde This was the first season I watched (I remember watching the premiere and my 13 year old self was shook when that guy got r*ped by the demon) and it was because of Gaga. Rewatching the season now, I really like and understand it. I liked the Countess's storyline the most and I really enjoyed her charcheter. The rest felt kind of slow. @imnotyourbabe10 Hotel did campiness best. Gaga was interesting, too. :v: The soundtrack was fabulous and the vampire allusions were neat.
