I was very disappointed by the overall exec?ution of the season @monster78619 I still really like the season, and I can’t quite put my finger on why it’s lower than Hotel? I can’t remember, but maybe there wasn’t enough horror to this one. Killing the clown so early was also a mistake just because he was such an interesting character to watch on screen @DontDoubtDavid Had it's good and bad moments. Actors were strong, but story was weak. Considering the theme, it could have been even scarier. @VoldeLorde2 I didn't really connect with the season. It seemed as though AHS had forgotten everything that made it great, until this season. They gave a lot of fan service without ever sacrificing any character's development (honestly gave a lot of character's better development especially Madison) and the new characters were some of the best in memory. Used ever cast member perfectly and gave us the most intriguing villain ever. @neptugne I gave Apocalypse a 10 because it just encompassed everything AHS has to offer. It was horror, it was camp, it featured fan favorites, it had Jessica Lange, it was pretty well developed, there were plot holes (an AHS staple) and I just think it was a really great season overall! He could have done so much more, but he had to build up a storyline that he wouldn't really touch later in the rest of the episodes. It felt rushed at times, and the filler episodes made my brain hurt. But it was fun, and lovely to see the Murder House again. @Mirages It was nice to see the witches again, but I really hoped the apocalypse would have been more of a result of the society decay caused by the Antichrist. @huttont - Coven 2.0 was okay. For it being a “sequel” Ryan Murphy and the writers did a really good job at tying loose ends and having a solid narrative. I didn’t feel lik??e? they were struggling to figure out the end as they filmed. @monster78619 I would normally tie this with cult, but my opinion fluctuates a lot :laughga: I absolutely love the whole MH/Coven segment, my problem lies with the first three episodes. The new characters all seemed interesting, especially Veneble, but we hardly see them all. But this segment also featured lots of random plots that didn’t really make sense or were just annoying. For example, why were we shown Veneble and Meade putting on purple clothes in the first episode? Why was that so important for us to see? Also, the whole plot line with the rubber man having sex with Gallant was just because Ryan Murphy has to have a gay sex scene nowadays. I can’t remember the name, but Dinah Stevens son was just unbearable, we’re we supposed to feel something for him at all??? One last thing, the finale seems to have a deleted scene or plot, as Cody Fern uploaded a pic on insta with him in the water tub all burned or whatever, making it seem like Michael would also go back in time with Mallory, which seems like an interesting plot. And another thing (:poot:), are there now two Mallorys in the world now? At the time she ran over Michael, her younger self would’ve been somewhere in the world, maybe having a coffee or something, so what’s happening with that? I hope you enjoyed my rant :lolga: @SwissMonster I was incredibly exited for this season. A bit sceptical cause of the C??oven crossover. But honestly Apocalypses just upgraded „Coven“ for me. Sadly the main subject, the apocalypse. Was to much left out, the main event wasn’t even shown. Inline flashbacks but I would’ve loved ?to see more from the actual time when the apocalypse happened.?????? @VoldeLorde2 I loved it. I thought the crossovers were really well done. Near the end, I remember one episode being quite pointless but I did enjoy the season as a whole. Again, Myrtle is great. @imnotyourbabe10 Not big into crossover seasons. They did it justice but it wasn't my cup of tea. I enjoyed the sci-fi elements to it, though! @Bloody Grammys It's a pretty great contination of Coven. We get to know new characters, the dimension expands, and the conflicts are consistent.
