Quartz 12,515 Posted March 27, 2019 Author Share Posted March 27, 2019 Freak Show - Good Comments @ARTGOD Incredibly underrated. Itâs worst sin was being so slow. The visuals are gorgeous, there a lot of beautiful moments, there are clear stakes, and the characters are great. It doesnât have the most focused plot but it does have a strong theme that ties the se?ason together. I donât think itâs the most exciting season but what is here does work really well together. @PlastiscGuy Same with Coven, I don't understand why so many people hates this season! It's amazing, the story is so raw and real. I'm still getting chills by Jessica's acting. She stole the show, one last time. @Mirages It was good, but too many musical numbers for my taste. @huttont This season gets too much hate. It had some of the scariest scenes in A?HS. Twisty and Dandy brought back the horror after Covens horror let down?.?? @Panchecco One of my favorite settings, story, and characters. The world of the FreakShow was immersive and beautiful but it lacked horror. Twisty was easily the scariest character they ever created but making his story a 4-episode arc was probably one of the most disappointing things the writers/producers ever did. I absolutely loved how melancholic the ending was. @SwissMonster A cool season but not more :koons: @robbiemalik I really enjoyed this season. It couldâve been shorter. Some areas of the story was meh. The freaks aspects of the show were really well done. @LittleMichael This season is very underrated and I really love it, maybe because it's the last one with Jessica Lange and I feel nostalgia @imnotyourbabe10 The historical attributes to this season won me over.  Twisty is iconic, too.  And how horrible human beings were treated for being "different" truly terrifies me. @Meredith Grey This season had some of AHS's biggest highs but also some of it's lowest lows. Twisty was amazing, Dandy was amazing, Sarah Paulson killed her roles as conjoined twins and Jesica Lange's character remained iconic. So many scenes were fantastic. However, there are some moments that were laughable despite the fact they weren't meant to be seen that way. Jessica Lange's accent was kind of funny, they only brought up her wooden leg when necessary and would randomly not have it there and Evan's character served no purpose for the plot really.  Inside, we are really made the same. đ Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
